Shipping policy

Thank you for shopping with LocalRootsCo! We create every item as a *made-to-order* product specifically for you. This Shipping Policy explains our production times, shipping process, costs, and delivery estimates within the continental United States.

1. Order Processing & Production Times
All items are handmade or custom-made after your order is placed.  
- Production typically takes 4–5 business days to complete your item(s).  
- Once production is finished, we prepare and ship your order within 1 business day.  

Total time before shipping: Expect 5–6 business days from order placement (production + preparation), excluding weekends and holidays.  

During busy periods (holidays, promotions, or high demand), production may take up to 7 business days . We will notify you via email if there is any significant delay.

2. Shipping Destination
We currently ship only to the continental United States (the 48 contiguous states).  

We do *not* ship to:  
- Alaska  
- Hawaii  
- U.S. territories (e.g., Puerto Rico, Guam)  
- APO/FPO addresses  
- Any international destinations  

If you enter a shipping address outside the continental U.S. at checkout, your order may not be processed or may be canceled.

3. Shipping Methods and Delivery Estimates
Shipping times below are after your order has shipped (not from the date you place the order).  

We offer the following options (exact carriers and rates appear at checkout):

**Important note on total delivery time:**

- Order weight and dimensions  
- Shipping destination within the continental U.S.  
- Chosen shipping method
